This site allows anyone to view reports that use the following datasets:
- PMETB/COPMeD National Survey of Trainee Doctors 2006
- PMETB/COPMeD National Survey of Trainee Doctors 2007
- PMETB National Survey of Trainers 2007
The Deanery staff with a log-in, should log-in to gain access to additional materials.
Please note the following:
- The survey data provide a snapshot at one point in time of how trainers and trainees perceive the postgraduate training in which they participate as measured by the surveys.
- The reports can be interpreted only as a screening tool - to flag up possible strengths and possible areas of concern. Further local investigation would always be required before any action is taken. The data cannot be used to provide any meaningful league tables. They should not be over interpreted (see for instance Bird, S.M. et al (2005) Performance indicators: good, bad, and ugly The report of a Working Party on Performance Monitoring in the Public Services J. R. Statist. Soc. A (2005) 168, Part 1, pp. 1–27).
